Safety Health Intern Jobs description
Environmental health and safety intern positions may also be titled as EHS intern, environmental safety internship, student intern, summer intern, or EHS internship. Such internship positions educate students on the practical aspects of their EHS studies. Major responsibilities of an environmental health and safety intern include working with team members to assist in day-to-day activities of the department; assisting in coordination and preparation of reports, training manuals, and programs; assisting with industrial hygiene (IH) assessments such as air monitoring and noise surveys, radiological health badges, and job hazard analysis; conducting need analysis; and maintaining personal protective equipment (PPE).An environmental health and safety intern with a BS, MS, or related technical degree in safety engineering, industrial hygiene, chemistry, biology, or related field, may find better opportunities.
