Health Safety Leader Jobs description
An environmental, health, and safety leader position requires overseeing daily site operations; supporting EHS training programs and safety measures development; keeping updated on OSHA guidelines; monitoring performance of EHS consultants, safety specialists, environmental safety officers, EHS assistants, and the rest of the EHS team members; keeping a close watch and check on liability claims if any arise against the firm; conflict negotiation; promoting healthy work environment; and overseeing implementation and adherence to safety guidelines by workers. Depending on the role and the employer, an environmental, health, and safety leader may report to the EHS manager, environmental safety director, or vice president of environmental, health, and safety.An environmental, health, and safety leader should have an associate\'s degree or a bachelor\'s degree in science coupled with several years of progressively responsible experience in a related area.
