Submit resume online at www.nppd.comrnrnSummary of Job duties:rnrnInterprets state and federal agency regulatory requirements, develops corresponding safety policies and procedures, develops hazard assessment criteria, conducts assessments, and advises management regarding administrative, process and equipment recommendations. Responsible for performing OSHA research and clearly identifies safety requirements and expectations.  Incumbent provides the vision and leadership to guide the District to a level of compliance and achievement of company safety policies and principles. Provides expert guidance to management in the development and implementation of safety and human performance programs.rnrnThis position will report to Director of Safety and Human Performance.rnrnQualifications:rnrnEducation/Training/Experience: rnrnBachelor’s degree, preferably with a major in Occupational Safety, Industrial Safety Engineering, Health and Safety Engineering, or a closely related curriculum and three years of experience in occupational safety and health inspections, audits, and/or safety process management.
