There are more than 265 Johnson & Johnson operating companies employing approximately 126,500 people and with products touching the lives of over a billion people every day, throughout the world.Position Summary:Align, execute and optimize core enabling processes (strategy, goal setting, performance monitoring, standard and policy setting, assurance, data systems and analytics, insights & reporting, capability building, due diligence/integration, project management, and budgeting/LRFP) for Global EHS&S to efficiently and effectively deliver agreed upon results. The Sr. Director will create strong relationships with LT peers, Regional Leaders, and the Extended Leadership Team to fully understand and integrate the range of stakeholder viewpoints on cross-cutting departmental processes and initiatives. S/he will be a key partner with JJSC office of Strategy & Deployment, Global Health Services, IT, and Supply Chain Knowledge Management.Key Responsibilities:Lead the annual strategic planning process in step with the JJSC timeline/process to enable on-time site level business planning. This includes driving the organization to a prioritized, aligned and funded annual workplan and a balanced scorecard (e.g. process & outcome metrics/targets (KPIs).Standardize/streamline approaches to EHS&S knowledge management and improve the mining of data for insights that feed into strategy and performance improvements.Improve and standardize governance processes (for data, metrics, assurance, document management, project management, etc.u2026) to assure insights are mined, risks are proactively identified, and when necessary, enterprise risk mitigation plans are deployed efficiently and effectively. Drive data and analytic technology improvements and innovation in HOW EHS&S is deployed. Assure full implementation of the Project Ocean vision for single source of truth, efficient and accurate data collection/reporting, improved visualization of data, and future state predictive analytics capable of improving EHS&S performance.Develop future-ready capability building strategy and workplan to assure the EHS&S organization is capable of supporting new innovations and business models. QualificationsUniversity/Bacheloru2019s degree or equivalent is required.A minimum of 12 years of related experience is required.Minimum of 6 years of leadership years of experience as a supervisor is requiredEHS&S experience is highly preferred.Global EHS process implementation experience is highly preferred.Experience within the Medical Device or Pharmaceutical industries is preferredAbility to work in cross-regional and cross-functional teams, translate complex situations into simple working solutions, manage complexity, collaborate with all levels of management and influence decision-making across a matrix organization is required. Strong negotiation and creative problem-solving skills is required.Demonstrated experience standardizing and implementing EHS&S initiatives at a global level is preferred.Ability to drive accuracy and innovation in staid programs like auditing and standards, but with the vision and skills to introduce new technologies, platforms and advances that excite others, are more engaging and drive performance is required.Proven ability to manage effective teams in a highly dynamic & changing environment is required.Strong influencing skills at a global level is required.Ability to balance many points of view while still advancing global standardization is required.Able to ruthlessly prioritize work but handle multiple workstreams is required.Strong background in large-audience strategy and governance is required.Good verbal, written and customer service-focused communication skills is required.Excellent attention to detail is required.This position requires up to 20% domestic travel and possibly international travel.
