You will maintain secure facilities by providing support and guidance to internal support personnel and the facility’s contracted security services company. Manage and direct the site in achieving EHS targets & objectives. Direct development, maintenance, and achievement of goals in support of corporate and business group EHS strategic initiatives.
You will drive and promote a Zero Incident Safety Culture throughout site, including **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***.’s Life Saving Rules. Prepare and submit all required environmental permit applications/renewals and routine agency reports, e.g., air emissions, water and waste water, hazardous/toxic waste, spills and releases, hazardous material/substance inventories. Manage all plant waste disposal activity to ensure compliance with applicable regulations.
You will develop/maintain plant emergency response plans and ensure drills are performed to document plan effectiveness. Responsible for medical and first aid procedures and emergency response. Create and maintain site disaster preparedness program. May serve as the plant emergency coordinator. Oversee and ensure compliance with corporate MESH and site-driven programs such as ISO14001, ESP, Behavioral Training. Lead OSHA reviews and site inspections.
You will use established EHS data processes such as MESH Suite to investigate accidents, near misses, and environmental incidents/accidents. Determine root cause and implement corrective actions. Evaluate proposed projects and new chemicals, ensuring plans are in place and implemented to address EHS compliance issues.
You will ensure all required plant safety inspections are performed and documented, e.g., fire extinguishers, fire risers, emergency response equipment, eye wash stations, emergency lights, ladders, housekeeping and that corrective actions are completed for identified deficiencies.
You will implement ergonomic studies; create and maintain an ergonomic program. Ensure employee health and safety training is completed on time and documented.
You will develop/maintain all required written safety plans, e.g., Hearing Conservation, PPE assessments. Ensure JSAs/risk/hazard analyses are performed and current. Manage PPE vendors and processes, e.g., safety glasses and shoes.

Required (Basic) Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution required.
Minimum 5 years of EHS experience.
Minimum 3 years of experience in a Manufacturing environment.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
This position requires use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). All applicants must be U.S. persons within the meaning of ITAR. ITAR defines a U.S. person as a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. 'Green Card Holder'), Political Asylee, or Refugee.
Experience in developing and delivering training in environmental, health and safety.
Experience with regulatory compliance concerning environmental, health, safety or security matters.
Experienced dealing with local, state, and federal agencies in relation to EHS.
Experience driving/leading culture change in an EHS environment.
