The Registered Nurse performs all aspects of the Employee Health Nurse function as establishing by the Executive Director of the Infection Control/Employee Health Clinic and executing strategic plans to ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations. Performs all aspects of Employee Health Services. Conducts new and annual employee health screenings to include health history, immunizations update, and physical assessment. Collaborates with Human Resources to ensure completion of all pre- employment health screenings. Plans, implements and conducts annual Flu Vaccine Program. Conducts TB screening for all new employees and all other employees according to the Hospital TB control plan annually and semi- annually. Keeps current file of employee and contract employee vaccinations or attestations as applicable. Execute strategic plans to ensure compliance will all federal ,state and local regulations . Maintains compliance with Drug Screen procedure and Policy.
A graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a valid State of FL RN license and two (2) to three (3) years in an emergency or occupational medicine setting. Must have current BLS certification. Any combination of relevant education, work experience, and / or certifications will be considered.
