This position reports to the Honeywell Building Technologies (HBT) HSEPS VP & could be based in any location within Americas.
As the HBT Regional Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) Manager
your key responsibilities will be to:
Utilize HOS to develop, deploy and continuously improve common operating systems and tools to increase efficiency and effectiveness of Honeywell’s HSE Management Systems programs.
Partner with the HBT HSE Global team and the One Honeywell Area HSE Managers (AHM) to drive HSE compliance & performance at the relevant HBT facilities across the region.
Provide direction, oversight and guidance for all aspects of HSE at the relevant HBT Americas locations. This includes HBT HSE initiatives, Honeywell Management system standards, as well as locally appropriate HSE regulatory compliance.
Conduct regular HSE visits to the locations as per the agreed schedule.Site visits and ongoing support will be conducted in accordance with standard work.
Provide subject matter expertise that assists the Connected Buildings, Building Products Fire and Building Products Security businesses in managing the risks associated with all operational aspects of the Field Operations and Office Low Risk Sites (OLRS).
Conduct regular and ongoing HSE Peer Reviews of projects and service contracts across the Americas Field Operations.
Work to advance new programs, processes and tools to continuously improve the efficiency and effectiveness of HSE practices across Americas Field Operations and OLRS.
Assist in making HSE a competitive differentiator for Honeywell in the marketplace.
Establish relationships and processes with Americas business managers to influence all employees to meet HSE goals and objectives.
Work with the HBT Field Operations HSE Team to identify actions required to maintain HSE Certification to OHSAS 18001:1999, AS4801:2001, ISO 18001.
Facilitate a change to Americas Field Operations culture toward a safe working environment by enhancing the knowledge, skills and attitudes of Honeywell employees and Sub-contractors.

YOU MUST HAVE
BSc or MSc or other equivalent degree in the HSEPS or related field.
At least 5 years’ experience in delivering HSEPS services & demonstrating progressive leadership.
HSEPS compliance and management systems auditing experience required.
Knowledgeable concerning HSEPS compliance, emerging regulations and trends
Strong influencing skills with demonstrated ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization.
Experienced in change management and continuous improvement projects
Willing to travel regularly
