Job Requirements

Position Title:

Field Representative - Financial Institution

*Internally this role is referred to as Financial Institution Field Representatiave*

Position Mandate:

This position is to engage the defined territory to capture new merchant acquiring relationships and support the achievement of Moneris' financial plans.

Key Activities Include (but are not limited to):

Interacting with assigned bank partners to maximize solution bundling and generate Moneris sales

opportunities.

Creating proposals and hosting presentations targeted at solving business needs of prospective

merchants

Analyzing and negotiating pricing, ensuring maximum gross margin potential is met

Utilize OMS to effectively manage merchant leads, pipeline and sales effectiveness

Achieve all financial plans, including managing T&E to plan

Provide management with visibility and insight into any marketplace challenges and/or perceived

opportunities.

Continuously developing incremental referral /networking resources

Performs other duties, as required

Requirements:

College degree or equivalent experience

Mimimum of 3 to 5 years experience in merchant processing industry with demonstrated abiltiy to

meet sales goals with focus on selling processing services

Proficient MS Office Suite and computer skills.

Effective remote access communication and promotional skills

Possess clear oral and written communication skills and presentation skills; bilingual preferred

with Spanish speaking skills.

Demonstrated ability to utilize a consultative sales approach to prospective merchants and ability

to establish a positive working rapport with assigned bank personnel at all levels to consistently

meet or exceed assigned sales targets

Special Conditions:

The successful candidate must reside in the Greater Madison Wisconsin Area.
