REQUIREMENTS:
2-5 years of experience working in a similar role working within a Safety Program
Experience with state, local and federal regulations including OSHA, NFPA, ANSI, ASME
, etc
Experience conducting safety audits and inspections and investigations
Experience with Safety policies and procedures and Safety Regulatory Compliance
Microsoft Office
(Word, Excel, and Power Point)
Experience with OHSAS 18001

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING IN THIS ROLE
As the Safety Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinator all Safety Aspects of our Regional Plant locations. This includes ensuring that Safety Programs are up to date with state, local and federal regulations and compliance, Ensuring a properly functioning Safety Management System (Maintenance). You will be responsible for updating safety policies and procedures, ensuring new hires are familiar with our corporate safety policies and procedures.
You will be responsible for coordinating all internal and external Safety Audits, leading any investigations, Managing all Corrective Actions, and Corrective Action Reporting, including developing Corrective Action Responses.
In this role you will maintain our facilities compliance calendar, maintain performance statistical records. You will ensure that JSA/ SOP's are reviewed and updated in compliance with the Safety Management System
You will also be tracking all preventative and incident remediations, and assist with workers compensation, and workers loss prevention and general liability issues.
COMPENSATION:
Base Salary range : $50,000-70,000* PLUS monthly bonus
based on production which has historically ranged between 10-20% of the base salary - (Plants are currently completely booked for product through next year) exceptional benefits potential for discretionary performance bonus
*base salary is determined based on demonstrated level of expertise during the interview process.
