Essential Responsibilities: Supports EHS Manager and site for all OSHApliance programs, including, but not limited to; PPE, Hearing Conservation, Respiratory Protection, Machine Guarding, Lock Out Tag Out, Confined Space, Industrial Powered Trucks, Contractor safety, and Hazardmunication. Direct Manager of the Waste Water Treatment Plant Operator. Supports EHS Manager in development, maintenance, and achievement of goals in support of corporate and business group EHS strategic initiatives. Including the development of goals for site manager, leadership team, and front line supervisors to drive EHS culture,pliance, and results. Responsible to the tracking of appropriate leading and lagging indicators to track EHS performance. Act as the EHS liaison for the on-site Safety Actionmittee by supporting the team champion, developing training, and assisting in site wide efforts. Develop campaigns to promotes zero incident EHS culture throughout site. Coordinate the annual MESH self-assessment (evaluation ofpliance for EHS country, state, and local regulations ) with EHS Manager and MESH element champions. Supports efforts for third party recognition for programs that establish the site and Eaton\u2019s EHS program as world class. Responsible for using established EHS data processes such as MESH Prism to manage data. Supports identification, design, implementation of improved safety or environmental measures for work stations, equipment, or other operations in support of continuous improvement. Supports and oversees EHS related capital projects through coordination and review of cost proposals, engineering designs forpliance with regulations, and management of contractors. Supports work station risk assessments, ergonomic assessments, and job safety analysis. Qualifications Basic Qualifications: Bachelor\u2019s degree from an accredited institution required. Minimum 3 years of EHS experience. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States withoutpany sponsorship. This position requires use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). All applicants must be U.S. persons within the meaning of ITAR. ITAR defines a U.S. person as a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. \u2018Green Card Holder\u2019), Political Asylee, or Refugee. Preferred\u00a0Qualifications: Minimum 2 years of manufacturing experience. Associate Safety Professional (ASP) or Graduate Safety Professional (GSP). Experience with environmental permitting and regulatorypliance. Experience implementing continuous improvement initiatives. Experience with ISO 14001 standards and auditing.
