Position requires an all-around knowledge of ethanol/biodiesel process operations, including installation and implementation of production enhancing projects. Position shall be responsible to help with coordinating and supporting customer service efforts at facilities such as process evaluation, troubleshooting, and improvement.
Evaluate plant requests for projects from both an operational and installation point of view
Aid the Plant Services group with project implementation. To include pre-tasking installations and providing information to aid in bidding and installation.
Collaborate with facilities to understand site strategies and help facilitate a plan for implementation of requested projects
Work with engineering and project management via conference calls and emails to complete quotations to customer in a timely manner
Complete commissioning/startups on WB installed equipment
Provide troubleshooting assistance to facilities as needed via phone calls, remote DCS access, and occasionally on-site support
Track contact with plant and develop a method for locating customer requests for troubleshooting in an organized manner
Collaborate with engineering and other departments on product development projects that can add revenue generating value to existing ethanol plants
Interface with various departments to help ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Interface with vendors to define project scope, resolve technical issues, and assist with equipment and material procurement.
Site visits to existing facilities as required.
Construction support and oversight as needed.
Minimum four years of experience in ethanol plant operation/plant management/construction.
Skills and Special Requirements/Licensing:
Strong communication skills
Ability to work well in a team environment.
Excellent computer skills in Microsoft Office.
Familiarity with API, ASME, and ANSI standards a plus.
